Our teachers lead engaging culinary workshops where students learned basic cooking skills while working together in a supportive environment. The workshops encourage independence, creativity, and teamwork while introducing practical life skills.

Through Mövenpick World DuoDays, our students had the opportunity to experience a day in the workplace alongside professionals at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. The initiative promotes inclusion by allowing participants to explore career environments and build confidence in professional settings.

Our Aquaponics & Sandponics Project, developed by the Royal Scientific Society, implemented by Aman, and funded by the EU, isn’t just farming—it’s growing confidence, skills, and independence. Students are learning to innovate, problem-solve, and celebrate each harvest as a triumph.

OSD proudly presented “Songs of the Golden Age” “أغاني الزمن الجميل”, a musical performance celebrating the beauty and legacy of classic Arabic music. Our students brought beloved songs to life through performance, honoring Arabic classics while building confidence and artistic expression.

Our choir performed at Swefieh Village, sharing music with the public. The performance highlighted the power of music and singing to bring communities together.

Products created by our students were proudly displayed at Expo 2025 Osaka, giving international visibility to the creativity and craftsmanship of the OSD community. This participation highlighted the importance of inclusive opportunities and showcased the talents of people with disabilities on a global stage.

OSD was honored to be invited to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an important global platform bringing together leaders from various sectors. Our participation highlighted the role of inclusive education, social entrepreneurship, and community development.

OSD expanded its job coaching program through a collaboration with Fairmont Amman, where two of our students are currently gaining valuable workplace experience. This partnership supports our mission of preparing individuals with disabilities for meaningful employment and greater independence.

When creativity meets courage, magic happens! At Spirit Wears Art, our students’ artwork came alive as wearable fashion, collaborating with Picasso School of Arts for a show that wasn’t just about designs—it was about voices, expression, and breaking limits. Every stitch is a story of resilience. Every design shouts: talent knows no bounds!

OSD organized a special mother-and-child outing to Jerash, creating an opportunity for families to spend meaningful time together. The trip helped strengthen relationships between mothers and their children while also fostering deeper connections among families within the OSD community.

OSD is now part of the International Alliance of Accessible Music (IAAM) and joining the Music Man Project. Our students are stepping onto international stages, showing that art and talent transcend barriers. This isn’t just music—it’s a voice for inclusion, a celebration of ability, and a statement: everyone belongs in the spotlight.

OSD hosted sound healing workshops for both students and parents, creating a calming and reflective space through the use of therapeutic sound and vibration. These sessions promoted relaxation, emotional balance, and shared wellbeing within our community

In recognition of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, OSD students participated presented a special performance in 2019 in Palestine. The performance used music and artistic expression to celebrate resilience, solidarity, and the role of the arts in raising awareness about disability and social inclusion.

The OSD choir performed a special fundraising concert at Al‑Ra’ed Al‑Arabi School in support of humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza. Through music and community engagement, the performance helped raise funds while bringing students, families, and supporters together around a shared cause of solidarity and compassion.

Project Visibility is our initiative that promotes disability inclusion in schools and the wider community by positioning students with disabilities as leaders and educators. Through lectures, workshops, student-led activities, and creative performances, the program encourages direct interaction between students, teachers, and parents, fostering empathy, respect, and stronger inclusive practices within schools.

Students enjoyed a unique outdoor experience through horseback riding sessions at Noor Stables. The activity supported confidence, balance, and connection with animals while giving participants the chance to enjoy nature.

Students participated in team-building and physical activities with the Challenger Team, focusing on collaboration, confidence-building, and physical well-being. These activities help strengthen social bonds while encouraging active and healthy lifestyles.

During Ramadan, we host a special Ramadan Bazaar at our center, showcasing products created by our students and team. The bazaars offered visitors the opportunity to purchase handmade items while supporting the vocational training and creative initiatives of our community.
